“How To Play Morley” Videos

We are starting the new year off with the introduction of our new video instructional series “How To Play Morley Field”. We will post a new video for each hole once a week for 19 weeks. This series will include tips from our local Team Innova sponsored pro and 11 Time Morley Field Course Champion Micah Dorius. These 3-4 minute videos are focused on the novice to intermediate level players looking to improve their game with insights on how to play each hole position and deal with its unique features.

We hope you will enjoy this series and walks away each week with new insight to improve your game. We are glad to hear your comments and welcome any ideas for more instructional Disc Golf videos.

  1. These videos are great for expert players. i came on the site and picked viewing the videos because my 12-year old son is playing today and has never played before. he has no idea what it looks like, what you are throwing the disc into etc. A good novice demonstration for someone who knows absolutely nothing would be a perfect addition to these. thank you for considering it.

  2. I agree with siri above. I was looking to see exactly how to play. Her request was sent in 2010 and it is now 2012 so I’m guessing I’m wasting my time. But thanks anyway.

It’s now 2014 and still no novice video.

The videos are aimed at Rec and Int. players. Advanced and Pro players were left out also as they already know how to play the course. There are so many factors that go into assisting a new player on a how to play series. Many newer players are still learning how to throw a disc properly and what discs to use, etc… Too many variables to cover enough of them on a very technical course such as Morley Field. The pro shop offers great lessons for newer players. Once they understands better th basics of throwing the logistics of playing will make a lot more sense.
